The opening event of the second stage of the joint project –Leadership in the Modern Public Serviceimplemented by Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration and Ludovika University of Public Service in Hungary was held at Ludovika University in Hungary.

The event featured opening remarks byMariam Kobiashvili, the Director of Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration,Nikoloz Laliashvili, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Hungary and Montenegro,Gergely Deli, the Rector of Ludovika University of Public Service,Balázs Klotz, the Director of the Institute for Public Administration Further Training. The speakers emphasized the importance of cooperation between Georgia and Hungary, the promotion of professional development of public servants and the role of strengthening leadership skills in building a modern and effective public service.

Within the second stage of the project the participants will take part in an intensive practical training course. The curriculum includes an introduction to Hungary’s constitutional system and model of public administration, as well as sharing relevant practical experience.
