School structure and description of functions

 

To achieve the goals and accomplish the objectives, the School:

aconducts retraining and enhancement of qualification of employees working in local self-government bodies, entrepreneurial and non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial)legal entities managed by local self-government bodies, territorial bodies under the institutions of executive authorities and legal entities of public law; 

b) provides retraining and enhancement of qualification of employees working in local self-government bodies, entrepreneurial and non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial)legal entities under the local self-government bodies, territorial bodies under the institutions of executive authorities and legal entities of public law in Georgia’s high-mountainous regions and areas densely populated by ethnic minorities;

c) ensures teaching of the state language to the interested persons;

d) issues grants aimed at facilitating the integration of citizens residing in high-mountainous regions and areas densely populated by ethnic minorities;

e) in accordance with the state requirements, defines, elaborates and approves educational programs for developing professional skills and civic education;

f) provides introduction of modern technologies in compliance with international standards and organization of educational process;

g) conducts e-learning and distance learning;

h) invites expert groups for creating and implementing specific training programs;

i) defines, elaborates and approves textbooks and teaching-methodological materials for development of training programs;

j) on the basis of contracts, conducts educational programs aimed at retraining and enhancing qualification of the interested individuals;

l) organizes the functioning of regional training centers in Georgia’s regions densely populated by ethnic minorities; 

m) cooperates with relevant state agencies and local self-government bodies to determine the training priorities for the groups of beneficiaries.   

n) cooperates with educational and scientific-research institutions both within the country and abroad;

o) organizes seminars, conferences and other events;

p) collaborates with the state, international and local organizations in the frames of qualification enhancement, training programs and citizen’s integration into the unified state space;

q) in accordance with the legislation of Georgia provides infrastructural and administrative support for trainings, conferences, seminars and other events organized by third parties aimed at teaching the state language to ethnic minorities, as well as retraining and enhancing qualification of public servants, employees of state and local self-government agencies, entrepreneurial  and non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal entities managed by local self-government bodies, legal entities of public law;

r) within the scope of its activities, provides contract-based services to natural persons and legal entities using material-technical/ or/and intellectual resources in accordance with the legislation of Georgia.
